Unique Starbucks outlets in North Asia

Starbucks has introduced a number of one-of-a-kind stores around the world, including several in Asia:

The Starbucks store in the Sanjo Karasuma building, Kyoto, Japan, has an experiential brew bar where customers can pull up a stool and enjoy coffee craft.

The highlight of the Starbucks store at Hong Kong’s Pacific Place Mall is a kinetic sculpture that hangs from the ceiling. The piece moves through two-hours cycles, emulating the flow of coffee as it pours into a cup.

This three-storey Starbucks store in Guangzhou, China, is designed to embrace coffee, art and local history. The first floor is dedicated to coffee craft, while the second floor offers spaces to connect and relax. The third floor has a flexible space for coffee education classes and seminars.

Starbucks has more than 25,000 stores around the world. The following cafe, found in Beijing's Forbidden City, was not one of those mentioned as it was closed in 2007.
