Beads Actually brings in limited edition merlion bead for SG50

Singapore store Beads Actually has opened pre-orders for a merlion bead by OHM Beads. The merlion is one of the symbols of Singapore, and has a lion's head and the body and tail of a fish.

Two hundred beads are available exclusively via Beads Actually from July 2 to 31 July. It will be available worldwide for individual sale thereafter.

The bead has an SG 50 stamp on it in celebration of Singapore's 50th anniversary of independence, and costs S$110 in a starter kit of either a plain bangle or a snap-clasp bracelet.
