Second-level registrations for '.id' domain names are open

Domain name registry IP Mirror has reported that the 'grandfather' phase of second-level .ID domain names has started and will end on 12 June 2014. Second-level .ID domain names end directly with .ID, e.g. example.id.

This exercise is open to holders of existing third-level .ID domain names such as example.co.id. The domain name has to be an exact match with the third-level domain name. Auctions will be conducted if multiple applications are received for the same domain name.

The landrush phase will start on 16 June 2014, ending on 13 August 2014. It is open to legal entities registered in Indonesia and Indonesian citizens. Auctions will also be conducted if multiple applications are received for the same domain name.
