The newly-minted Startup Asia Women community, formed in December 2016, aims to bring together women who run or work in startups, who are planning to start or join startups, or simply would like to know more about startups.

The community aims to provide critical support and resources to women with an entrepreneurial mindset, and welcomes members who are at various stages of their startup pursuits. Startup Asia Women believes that this diverse background is a recipe for success, as it inspires new ideas, experiences and motivation.

Startup Asia Women's inaugural networking event will feature the founders of three female-founded startups – YuhWen Foong of Sushivid, an influencer marketing platform, headquartered in Malaysia; Ginny Ecklblad of Gorillaspace, a new startup aiming to disrupt the office rental market and Jacqueline Ye of Delegate.sg, semifinalists of Channel NewsAsia Startup Competition Season 4 in discussions around the theme of Thinking in design, and successful marketing startups.

Men are welcome to attend.
