The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore is celebrating mid-autumn with popular favourites as well as artisanal snowskin and traditional baked mooncakes.
Popular flavours like mini custard lava with vanilla (best enjoyed warm), and mini snowskin Mao Shan Wang durian (best enjoyed chilled) have returned. This year, a white lotus seed paste with five grains mooncake debuts, containing pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, oats and sesame seeds.
Baked flavours include the white lotus seed paste with double yolk and white lotus seed paste
flavours, while snowskin mooncakes include the mini snowskin white lotus seed paste with yolk, mini snowskin white lotus seed paste, mini snowskin green tea with yolk and mini snowskin green tea flavours.
Inspired by the use of lacquer wood in traditional Chinese decorative items such as jewellery boxes, the mini custard lava with vanilla and selected snowskin mooncakes are presented in a blue lacquer box patterned with floral motifs. The traditional baked mooncakes are presented in a red and gold box adorned with flower motifs. A gold and black box is exclusive to bulk purchase orders.
