The Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MoF) has announced that the third series of BAHTERA will take place on 14 and 15 October at PERSADA Convention Centre, Johor Bahru.
In line with the government’s effort to empower the Bumiputera economy as proposed in the 11th Malaysia Plan, BAHTERA aims
to bridge the information gap among entrepreneurs with smart business
information, effective branding strategy and technology.
This year's BAHTERA is expected to be attended by over 6,000 visitors.
With the theme of Bumipreneurs of Tomorrow, the BAHTERA (Southern Edition) programme targets all entrepreneurs and Bumiputera business communities in Southern Malaysia and centres around scaling and growing current business provincially by giving participants appropriate access to the most proficient methods to bring their brands regionally and globally in addition to supporting their go-to-market strategy.
BAHTERA 2017 (Southern Edition) will provide participants with 27 master classes, 28 pocket talks, two boot camps, 27 programme owners, 40 agencies and 70 Johor exhibitors. Among the 27 programme owners that will be involved are MaGIC, Jaringan Usahawan Muda Perusahaan Sosial (JUMPS), Train Her Consultancy, FaStyleAsia, Querenda Initiate Global Resources, Koperasi 1Malaysia, Jooblii Commerce, Insken Teraju, Rik Sadiman, Persatuan Usahawan Internet, App Dolph, MyIPO, Leap Leadership Academy, PEKOMIK, Persatuan Usahawan Dan Industri ICT Bumiputera Malaysia NEF, NTP Technology Consultancy (UTM), Mindatrafik, PUGM Consultancy, JW, NH Revo Resources, Miesya Yunus Holding, Godbless Studio, MadResponse, Bahtera Fashion Apprentice and Program Only One with Irwan.
This programme will also joined by 30 speakers that include leadership guru Datuk Faridah Hanim, commonly known as Ibu Hanim, CEO of Magic; Ashran Dato’ Ghazi, COO of Koperasi 1Malaysia; Wan Darul, Athlete and Southeast Asia record holder for sprinting; Khairul Hafiz ‘SPEEDY’ Jantan, celebrity; Fattah Amin, Mira Filzah and Bront Palarae, Founder of Mary Jardin cosmetics products; Dr Maryam, and CEO of Rina Salleh Malaysia’s local clothing brand Rina Salleh.
