Combining colonial era charm and service with 21st century design and convenience, The Anam emphasises personalised services, culinary excellence and rejuvenating wellness. The resort is located on Northern Cam Ranh Peninsula, 15 minutes from Cam Ranh International Airport, and 30 minutes from the city centre.

At The Anam we embrace this natural advantage by offering highly discerning levels of service while ensuring guests enjoy uniquely curated destination and resort experiences,” said Duncan MacLean, GM, The Anam.

The resort features suites and villas, including beachside accommodation with private pools, along a private beach. Each of the 105 villas is finished with Vietnamese hardwood, stone and antique style tiling.

The Sweet Dreams à la carte concept offers Irish linen, goose down pillows and recognised 'world’s best' beds, while the bathrooms, with sunken bathtubs, rain showers, and handmade French lotions and toiletries, typify The Anam’s attention to detail.

In addition to the private beach, patrolled by internationally certified life guards, facilities include three swimming pools and a complimentary shuttle service to and from downtown Nha Trang city. A wide range of recreational activities – from water sports to tennis and yoga – are also available, together with a fitness centre.

For dining, the Beach Club is poolside, while the resort’s Indochine Café delivers contemporary Asian and European cuisines in show kitchens.

Burj Al Arab Terrace pushes the boundaries of construction, design, architecture and hospitality

The new Burj Al Arab Terrace, in Dubai’s most iconic hotel, is a restaurant, pool, beach and cabana space that marks a world-first in marine and off-site construction. The structure was developed by marine construction experts ADMARES at a shipyard in Finland, then transported by ship to Dubai in eight pieces, ensuring minimal disruption to guests, the seabed and marine life.

The private 10,000m2 outdoor luxury leisure facility stretches 100m out into the sea and is home to Scape Restaurant & Bar, two pools, dedicated butler-serviced cabanas, and a beach area with luxury day and sunbeds.

Anthony McHale, General Manager, Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, commented: “As the world’s most luxurious hotel, Burj Al Arab continuously evolves and reinvents our guest experience through state-of-the-art facilities. Burj Al Arab Terrace is the ultimate destination for indulgence, socialising and relaxing and is another initiative in our endeavour to delight our guests.

"Burj Al Arab Terrace is our most ambitious project since the hotel was created; it’s a global first in hotel construction with a breakthough combination of creative marine design, ingenious engineering and guest-friendly planning. In January, we announced its arrival on a ship from Finland and, since then, our construction and design teams have brought our vision to life and the result is simply spectacular.”

Stefan Leser, Group Chief Executive Officer, Jumeirah Group, added: “The Burj Al Arab Terrace is a new Dubai landmark and a symbol of innovation and engineering excellence. A masterpiece in design and architecture, it reinforces Dubai as an outstanding destination and leader in global hospitality. We are immensely proud to offer such a distinctive experience, which will considerably enhance the enjoyment of our Burj Al Arab guests.”

The terrace reflects the shape of Burj Al Arab. A palette of earth tones and clean whites highlight the contrasting colours of nature, while the highest quality glass has been used extensively and creatively, especially at the handmade light installations in the Scape Restaurant & Bar.

The design also incorporates a 612m2 freshwater pool and an 828m2 saltwater infinity pool. Ten million mosaic tiles in shades of azure and gold line the pools, while 1,000 tonnes of white sand make up a beach. Set within the pools are four jacuzzis and a swim-up bar.

Scape Restaurant and Bar

Head chef Timur Fazilov serves up Californian fusion-style dishes, while the outdoor bar provides guests with the perfect alfresco venue to enjoy a creative selection of drinks from all over the world.

Cabanas

Available for hotel guests and members, the 32 fully air-conditioned cabanas overlook Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab Terrace and the Dubai skyline. The 24 cabanas and eight Royal Cabanas can accommodate up to four guests each, offering poolside facilities such as a dedicated butler service, a dining, beverage and bar menu, spa menu, fully stocked minibars, fresh fruit, espresso machines, Bang & Olufsen TVs and a rotating amenity cycle with four to six varieties per day. The eight Royal Cabanas also include a private bathroom, shower area and verandah.
