The hotel is located in the heart of Guangzhou High Tech Development District – the Science City, adjacent to the new Huangpu District Government Administration Office (formerly Luo Gang District). The hotel is approximately 25.5 km from Canton Fair Pazhou Complex and 40 km from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. Guests heading to Hong Kong, Macao and other major cities in the Pearl River Delta can do so within two hours via inter-city direct bus.

Each guest room features a broad range of modern furnishings and amenities, including the Sweet Dreams by DoubleTree Sleep Experience, 42" LCD television sets offering satellite channels, and bathrooms stocked with the new Aroma Actives natural skin and body care line. There is also an outdoor swimming pool and a 24-hour fitness centre offering Precor-branded cardiovascular and strength training equipment. A complimentary 24-hour connectivity zone is also available to accommodate guests' business needs, and complimentary WiFi is available throughout the hotel's public areas.
DoubleTree by Hilton Guangzhou – Science City features over 2,000 sq m of meeting space, including a Grand Ballroom and six function rooms. The 1,000 sq m Grand Ballroom is one of the largest pillar-less ballrooms within Science City; the 2,500 sq m rooftop garden with views of the central garden is also ideal for events.
Elements, the hotel's all day dining restaurant, is a gathering place with a wide selection of regional Asian cuisine, Western grill items, and fresh seafood. China House serves top-quality Cantonese cuisine, while Chao Shang Specialty Restaurant features fine Chaozhou cuisine. Seven private dining rooms offer additional meeting options.
DoubleTree by Hilton Guangzhou - Science City participates in Hilton HHonors, the guest-loyalty programme. Hilton HHonors members who book directly through preferred Hilton channels have access to benefits including: digital check-in and the ability to choose their room. Free Wi-Fi will be available later in 2015.
