Starbucks has created a festive line of products to celebrate the lunar year of the monkey (2016). The following limited supply of Chinese new year merchandise can be found at Starbucks stores in Asia:
Lunar new year monkey mug
A white monkey looks out from the side of this red ceramic mug in embossed 3D. Its tail curls around the mug, while an arm forms the mug’s handle. It has a painted red glaze exterior and yellow interior, with gold-coloured vines as metallic accents.
Lunar new year mug and coaster set
This glossy red ceramic coffee mug features a full-wrap decal with metallic gold-coloured vines and lantern art. The accompanying wood coaster is laser-etched with the Starbucks name and comes with a monkey figurine.
Nesting three-mug set
The outermost mug is of red ceramic, with a curled handle that forms the monkey’s tail and the Starbucks name incised on the side. The middle ceramic mug holds about 236 ml and is covered with a transparent golden glaze. The innermost mug, of white ceramic, holds about 177 ml and forms an abstract monkey’s head, with two ears that serve as handles.
Year of the monkey tumbler
Bursts of red and white fireworks and geometric shapes add to the celebratory look of the coffee tumbler. The double-wall construction insulates beverages, keeping them cooler or warmer, and maintaining a comfortable temperature for hands. A red flip-top lid to help minimise spills.

Dressed in a monkey costume with a removable hood, this soft, giftable bear features a festive pattern of colours on paws and ears, while an embroidered patch with the Chinese character for 'monkey' (猴) adorns its tummy.
Starbucks glass
A glass with an abstract pattern and a yellow and white floral design reminiscent of the spring festival.
