Chinatown Food Corporation will be introducing frozen pumpkin balls, glutinous rice balls (tangyuan, a traditional Chinese dessert) with salted egg yolk lava, and sesame balls with salted egg yolk lava filling, All three have no preservatives. Chinatown Food Corporation is the first manufacturer in Singapore to develop salted egg yolk flavoured glutinous rice balls and sesame balls. Manufactured frozen to the highest quality and standards, the products add a new twist to the traditional Chinese dessert. The frozen Sesame Ball (Salted Egg Yolk) product is 100% fresh-frozen, not pre-fried nor precooked. After frying, the sesame balls are able to achieve a similar quality compared to freshly made sesame balls after frying. Freshly prepared lava sesame balls have warm crisp sesame seeds on the outside, and rich, sweet yet salty explosion of salted egg yolk flowing out from the inside. The lava glutinous rice balls contain a different formulation of salted egg yolk filling. |
