Returning for its second year, the mega 3-in-1 Festival of Fun will feature three pillars of fun - the Magners International Comedy Festival, Nickelodeon Fiesta and Clarke Quay StreetFest this March. The festival welcomes acts from UK’s Covent Garden street theatre, well-loved characters from Nickelodeon and award-winning comedians from around the world.

Audiences can look forward to taking part in the festivities and at the same time dine at the numerous food and beverage establishments within Clarke Quay. StreetFest and Nickelodeon Fiesta will take place at the Fountain Square whilst the comedy acts can be enjoyed at Beer Xchange, McGettigan’s, Crazy Elephant, Get Juiced, F-Club and Shanghai Dolly.

Adrian Lai, Centre Manager, Clarke Quay, said: “A wide range of restaurants will add to the buzz with thematic and delectable offerings that are sure to delight visitors of all ages.”

The 5th edition of Magners International Comedy Festival features acts such as Doug Stanhope from the US, UK’s Best Newcomer to Comedy 2016 Yuriko Kotani, Jim Brewski , winner of Hong Kong’s 2014 International Comedy Competition, and Canadian Brian Aylward, a regular in Bangkok’s comedy circuit.

Singaporean comedians Samuel See, recently seen on Channel 5’s Ok! Chope will represent the Singapore versus Malaysia portion of the festival; together with Fakka Fuzz who has a highly anticipated debut on Neflix titled Almost Banned, and Deepak Chandran who has been touring Asia with his brand of local culture musings. They will pit their wits against Malaysia’s best – Kavin Jay and Sulaimon Azmil, both notorious for their jokes on Malaysian culture.

Located along the iconic Singapore River at the fringe of Singapore’s Central Business District, Clarke Quay sits on a historical commercial site dating back to the 19th century.
