Singtel TV expands entertainment lineup with TVB content

Singtel TV is bringing Hong Kong’s TVB Jade and TVB Xing He to customers. Both channels will launch with a free preview from 9 September to 8 October 2019.

Singtel customers can enjoy the same TVB Jade as Hong Kong viewers, with dramas, variety and infotainment programmes in original Cantonese audio.

“Having listened to our customers, many of whom are fans of TVB, we are bringing its channels to their screens for the first time. TVB is a welcome addition to the Singtel TV family – featuring a wide range of content that appeals to our customers and TVB fans alike. We’ve been steadily adding channels to our comprehensive TV lineup and will continue to boost our offerings as Singapore’s No. 1 pay-TV provider,” said Yuen Kuan Moon, CEO, Consumer Singapore, Singtel.

“We are excited to work with Singtel, Singapore's leading pay-TV provider, to bring TVB channels to even more viewers. For many years, our viewers in Singapore have enjoyed our shows, and with this partnership, we look forward to elevating our fans' engagement and experiences to the next level,” said Mark Lee, Executive Director and Group CEO, TVB.

TVB Jade (channel 511) is part of Singtel TV’s new Canto add-on pack, available at the launch special of S$0.90 monthly, discounted from the regular price of $4.90. TVB Xing He (channel 517) will be added to Jingxuan packs at no extra charge.

Upcoming TVB Jade shows include dramas Neighbourhood Finance starring Kent Cheng, Agent C9 starring Kenneth Ma, Death By Zero with Wayne Lai and Moses Chan, variety series Do Did Eat hosted by Carol Cheng, as well as live telecasts of Miss Hong Kong Pageant 2019, TVB Anniversary and TVB Awards Show.
