The latest offering to the nova lineup was launched at the Esports Festival Asia at COMEX 2019. Huawei is title sponsor for the e-sports event. As the world's first commercial 7 nm SoC and the first SoC to embed ARM Cortex-A76 based cores, the Kirin 980 integrates dual NPU processing power and the ARM Mali-G76 GPU which supports LPDDR4X at 2,133 MHz. Samsung's Low Power DDR4X (LPDDR4X) is faster-than-average dynamic access memory. As a result, the HUAWEI nova 5T features outstanding AI capacities that increase the phone's performance and efficiency to deliver a smarter and more engaging user experience. The HUAWEI nova 5T also features changes to underlying algorithms in order to optimise chipset scheduling.
