New HUAWEI MatePad supports wireless, reverse wireless charging

Designed for creators, the HUAWEI MatePad delivers Huawei’s signature large display that with ultra-narrow 4.9 mm1 bezels and the world’s highest tablet screen-to-body ratio at 90%2.

One of its key features is that it supports wireless and reverse wireless charging, the first of its kind for a tablet. Bluetooth-enabled accessories to elevate the experience with the HUAWEI MatePad series include the HUAWEI M-Pencil3 for intuitive writing, and the Smart Magnetic Keyboard3.

Running on the latest Android OS and EMUI 10.1, the new HUAWEI MatePad includes a variety of smart features. It features Multi-Window4, Floating Window and App Multiplier4 for multitasking, for example.

The Multi-screen Collaboration5 function also lets users connect their Huawei smartphone with the HUAWEI MatePad LTE to use two devices at once on a single display. EMUI 10.1 additionally supports HUAWEI MeeTime6, Huawei’s native chat functionality that supports up to 1080p video calling between two Huawei devices.

The S$498 HUAWEI MatePad in Midnight Grey is available in Singapore from 25 July 2020. The configuration includes:

Memory: 4 GB RAM

Flash-based storage: 64 GB

Operating system: Huawei EMUI 10.1 (based on Google Android 10)

Connectivity: LTE with a nano-SIM card slot

The deals are available at all Huawei Concept Stores, online official stores in Lazada and Shopee, as well as authorised retailers Challenger, its online shop Hachi.tech, and Courts. Best Denki, Harvey Norman, Lazada and Shopee are also authorised retailers for the MatePad.
