The Fortune World's Most Admired Companies for 2014, a list of 50 brands, includes three from Asia: Singapore Airlines at no. 18, Samsung Electronics at no. 21 and Toyota Motors no. 25.
Apple, Google and Amazon made the top three respectively.

Noble Group (Hong Kong, China), ranked 4th in trading
Oil & Natural Gas (India), ranked 7th in the mining category
POSCO (Korea), ranked 6th in metals
Samsung C&T (Korea)
Sinochem Group (China), which tops the trading category
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (Taiwan, China)
Tata Steel (India)
Toyota Industries (Japan) for motor vehicle parts, and
food production company Wilmar International (Singapore).
