AccorHotels has opened Mercure Phu Quoc Resort & Villas, the group’s second hotel on the island of Phu Quoc in Vietnam. The newly refurbished resort offers both privacy and accessibility. It is 5 minutes from Phu Quoc International Airport, and 7 km from Duong Dong town. Phu Quoc is a 50-minute flight from Ho Chi Minh City.
Said Patrick Basset, Chief Operating Officer for AccorHotels Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and the Philippines, “As the third Mercure in Vietnam, the resort strengthens AccorHotels’ commitment in the country to growing the Mercure brand, which combines international service standards with local charm.”
The 72 villas feature private terraces, LED TVs with satellite channels, coffee and tea making facilities and a minibar. The beach front Executive Pool Villas are built with private swimming pools with underwater lounge chairs, bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs and separate living rooms.

For meetings, conferences, or corporate retreats, the hotel boasts a fully equipped function room ideal for private and corporate functions. Its meeting facilities can accommodate up to 80 guests.
