The Wanda Realm Taian (泰安万达嘉华酒店) celebrates its grand opening today as the 77th hotel from Wanda Hotels & Resorts. It is also the 30th Wanda Realm hotel to open in China and the 41st hotel wholly owned and managed by Wanda Hotels & Resorts.

As Shandong’s fourth hotel launched by Wanda Hotels & Resorts under the Wanda Realm brand, the hotel sets a new benchmark for premium accommodations and service in Taian city.

Wanda Realm Taian is conveniently located in the city’s central business district and forms part of the Wanda Plaza Complex, next to the Taishan International Conference & Exhibition Centre. The hotel is within walking distance of the Taian Arts & Cultural Centre and Taian Municipal People’s Government building, and 10 minutes’ drive from the Taian railway station as well as to the entrance to Mount Tai.

The hotel’s 283 guest rooms and suites are located between its 25th to 37th floors, with room sizes starting at 40 sq m, all offering views of Taian City. Selected rooms enjoy uninterrupted views of Mount Tai. All rooms feature the signature Bed of the Realm, as well as Dream Catcher services which include calming fragrances, music and bedtime reading materials to help ease guests into a good night’s sleep. All guest rooms feature bathrooms with a rainfall shower and luxury toiletries.

For dining, Wanda Realm Taian offers Café Realm for all-day dining with interactive cooking stations offering a selection of Chinese and Western dishes made to-order. The ZHEN Chinese restaurant combines Cantonese and modern Lu creations, along with the finest local cuisine Shandong has to offer. Rounding out the selection is Chili & Pepper, which offers authentic Sichuan cuisine and other spicy delicacies. Light refreshments are served all day at The Lobby Lounge.

For the ultimate statement in elegance and prestige, the Grand Ballroom is Taian city’s finest, offering 1,200 sq m of pillar-free space and a 85 sq m LED screen. All meeting and banquet venues, including seven separate private meeting rooms, feature the latest audio-visual and multimedia facilities, as well as complimentary high-speed Internet access.

“The two characters in ‘Taian’ (泰安) are derived from the phrase ‘peace and prosperity’, and Taian is situated in the burgeoning Shandong province, a renowned cultural holiday destination and home to Mount Tai, called 'the first mountain in the world',” said Wanda Realm Taian General Manager Grant Thompson.

To celebrate the grand opening of Wanda Realm Taian, introductory rates are available for a limited period. From now until December 31, 2015, the Deluxe Room rate* is RMB 598 per night, and any purchase of ten Café Realm buffet vouchers will come with an additional five vouchers for free.
