The St Regis Macao, Cotai Central, is the newest addition to the Sands China portfolio of properties along the Cotai Strip in Macau. The 38-storey, 400-key luxury hotel also marks the completion of the company's Sands Cotai Central integrated resort, which already offers rooms under the Conrad, Sheraton and Holiday Inn flags.

With the addition of The St Regis Macao, Sands Cotai Central now features more than 6,200 hotel rooms and suites along with retail, restaurant and entertainment offerings. Comprised of The Venetian Macao; The Plaza Macao, featuring the Four Seasons Hotel Macao; and Sands Cotai Central, housing hotels by St. Regis, Conrad, Sheraton and Holiday Inn, Sands China's integrated resort developments on the Cotai Strip offer nearly 10,000 hotel rooms and suites. They also provide 140,000 sq m of meeting and exhibition space and well over 100 dining options including Michelin-starred restaurants.

"Whether it's hotel, restaurant, retail or other amenities or attractions, our developments on the Cotai Strip have become home to many of the world's most-renowned and important brand names," said Sheldon Adelson, Chairman and CEO of Las Vegas Sands and Sands China. "The opening of The St Regis Macao is another significant step in Macau being able to differentiate itself from other destinations and further enhances Macau's ability to draw even more leisure tourists and business travellers from throughout the region and across the globe. As we have from the outset, we will continue to invest in Macau's tourism future, which next year includes the opening of The Parisian Macau. The 3,000-room property complete with a stunning replica Eiffel Tower is destined to become Asia's new 'must-see' property."

Sands China President Dr Wilfred Wong said: "The addition of the prestigious St Regis brand to our portfolio enriches the already outstanding customer experience offered by Sands China in Macao. It also creates new jobs for the city, and offers Macao locals a new opportunity to join Sands China Ltd, a company devoted to helping locals advance their careers through our focus on team member training and development. The Macao debut of St Regis is a noteworthy contribution to the city's standing as a world centre of tourism and leisure; and the completion of this fourth tower at Sands Cotai Central is the latest pillar supporting the diversification of Macao's tourism industry."
