New toll roads in Java

Indonesia President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo inaugurated the Surabaya – Mojokerto (Sumo) Toll Road, which is 36.27 km long, on 19 December. This extends toll roads in East Java, Indonesia to 199 km.

The extension is part of a 1,167 km Trans Java Toll Road from Merak to Banyuwangi, expected to to be completed by end-2019. A Merak – Surabaya toll road project is to be completed by end-2018.
