The new dessert menu features Peranakan items crafted from authentic ingredients. Look for the kuih lapis or layered cake—a traditional snack of colourful layers of soft rice-flour pudding. Another favourite is the ang ku kueh, or red tortoise cake, so called because the small, rounded sweet dumpling is shaped like a tortoise shell. Traditionally presented on a square piece of banana leaf, the soft, sticky glutinous rice flour skin encases a sweet filling.

Signature buttery English scones served with jam and cream are also available.
