- Carnival acts and comedians- Ten-day festival features the Clarke Quay Streetfest, Magners International Comedy Festival and Nickelodeon Fiesta
The third annual Singapore Festival of Fun is back this March with its signature pillars of entertainment. From 14 to 24 March 2019, Clarke Quay will be transformed into a carnival showcase of street acts, standup comedy and games. This 10-day extravaganza combines international and local carnival acts of acrobatics, juggling and dare-devilry with standup comedic talent and unique games by Nickelodeon that celebrate Singapore.
The 2019 edition of the Singapore Festival of Fun will feature a total of 108 shows making it the biggest Festival of Fun instalment ever to take place at Clarke Quay. Said Matt Bennett, Director of Magic Rock and organiser of the Singapore Festival of Fun, “This year’s festival will definitely be more fun.”

Audiences can expect to be thrilled by The Sergeant Majors (UK), the 10 ft tall walkabout act, Otto - The Master of Balloons and a classic clown act, as well as Felicity Footloose - an acrobat who will hang upside down and juggle. Street Circus Canada, a nouveau high-energy performance duo and Ernest Magnifico, a pogo stick and stunt show performer from Australia will also be making appearances. Last but not least, Singapore’s own The Annoying Brothers will also take to the stage with their cheeky big top acts.
Magners International Comedy Festival

The Magners International Comedy Festival, now in its sixth instalment, will take its hat off to a lineup of international comedians over two weekends. Check out Kenyan-born British standup comedian of Indian Konkani Muslim descent Imran Yusuf who will headline at Cask and Bangers. The Singapore versus Malaysia comedy standoff will take place at Get Juiced with Jinx Yeo and Sam See representing Singapore and Daniel Prakash and Andrew Netto representing Malaysia. Other participating bars include Crazy Elephant, McGettigan’s Irish Bar and Pong Singapore.

The two-day event will feature Nickelodeon activities that are inspired by Singapore’s history and traditional trades. Look forward to game booths and activities with themes from Nickelodeon shows, including a feel of local nostalgic trades such as street cobblers, the kacang puteh man, ice cream seller and the traditional baker, and stand a chance to take home Nickelodeon collectibles.
