Facebook enriches Messenger chat platform

Today at Facebook's F8, Facebook announced Messenger Platform, which already has more than 40 new apps that users can download today. The apps help users to enhance their conversations with GIFs, photos, videos, audio clips and more.

Facebook also previewed Businesses on Messenger, which will provide the option for a Messenger user to communicate with a business via Messenger. For example, a Messenger user can receive updates from an e-retailer in Messenger after an online purchase. Such updates could include order confirmations and the ability to track an order.
