For those pressed for time, Guardian Health & Beauty is bringing the shopping right to the train platform at City Hall MRT station in Singapore. Commuters can browse some 1,600 products in personal, health and beauty care in a virtual popup store up till 30 December. Commuters need only scan the QR code* for the products they want to buy to be brought to a purchase page. Deliveries can be made to a Singapore address at a specific date and time within two days.

It's a Peranakan Christmas Indulgence at the Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy. Christmas takeaways include festive meats, gingerbread delights and log cakes. The must-try this year is the signature chempedak log cake. The hotel is also offering corporate dinner and dance packages complete with a buffet dinner.

From 23 December to 3 January 2016 the hotel has prepared a five-course set meal at the Breez Bistro that offers choices of chicken, beef Wellington and ocean trout. Seasonal dishes are also available at the Wave Cafe, including slow cooked duck confit served with smoked mashed potatoes, black olives and baby greens with orange dressing. The dish costs S$18 inclusive of a bottle of Yeo’s Tropicana Twister, soup of the day and a cup of coffee or tea.

French restaurant Angelina’s White Christmas 2015 Limited Edition hamper, S$180, features a limited edition Christmas Tea - a black tea combining Chinese tea with Sri Lankan tea, orange peel and gingerbread aroma with flower petals - their iconic hot chocolate in limited edition packaging, an assortment of 19 chocolates and a chestnut cream. Hampers can also be customised. Specially packaged hot chocolate, tea and mini jam sets are also available.

The walnut-crusted halibut, with citrus fennel and hot & sour trout roe vinaigrette, a main course in the three-course Christmas menu.

For those who are looking to organise a Christmas meal, Angelina has also specially put together a Christmas menu, showcasing luxury ingredients such as oysters, foie gras and chestnuts, evocative of the holidays in France. The all-day, three-course Christmas menu at S$60++, is available till 31 December, while a four-course menu at S$70++ is available* on 24 and 25 December.
