StarHub TV customers will be the first in Asia to enjoy the latest Korean blockbusters and all-time favourite Korean movies in high definition (HD), round-the-clock. StarHub has announced that tvN Movies HD, Asia’s first dedicated Korean movie channel, is set to launch on StarHub TV (channel 818) on 11 January 2017.

To enable greater convenience, the channel will also be available on demand as tvN Movies VOD HD. Customers can catch it anytime on StarHub TV Channel 819, or stream the On Demand Channel via StarHub Go, StarHub's online streaming service.

Offering over 200 titles a year, viewers can also look forward to special late night screenings dedicated to horror, thriller and mature theme movies.

Starting with Singapore, we expect to launch in other major Southeast Asian territories including Malaysia, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Indonesia in 2017,” said Samey Lee, CEO of CJ E&M HK. “By launching the world’s first and only Korean Blockbuster channel with StarHub TV in Singapore, we hope to expand our service offerings and, at the same time, deliver a unique and sophisticated Korean home-cinema experience to StarHub TV customers.”
