Zhongguo Remittance, together with the management of People’s Park
Complex, Singapore, will be organising a fair at the People’s Park Complex mall from 25 to 27 August
2017. Admission is free.
Event-goers can enjoy Chinese opera performances held at noon during the
event. They can also participate in stage games, a shop hunt and lucky draws held daily
to win prizes.
There will also be food sampling, as well as retail and
demonstrations on how to use CCPay for a slew of cashless services, including sending remittances through Zhongguo Remittance. Founded in March 2017 and headquartered in Singapore, CCPay is a digital payment solutions provider for online, mobile and in-store payment. The company offers QR code payment in Singapore, and is an Alipay partner.
Alipay currently has over 520 million active users, mostly in China. Users can hail a taxi, book a hotel, make appointments with doctors, buy movie tickets, pay utility bills or purchase wealth management products directly from within the app. In addition to online payments, Alipay is expanding to offline payments both inside and outside of China. Alipay’s in-store payments cover
more than 200,000 retail stores overseas, and tax reimbursement via Alipay is supported in 25
countries and regions. Alipay supports the settlement of 18 currencies.

The event will be held from 11.30am to 5pm on 25 August and from 12 to 5pm on 26 and 27 August. Hour-long opera performances will begin at noon on each day. Games will be held from 2pm on 25 August, and from 1pm on 26 August.
